Your pipelines are green. Your data can still be wrong.
Jobs succeed, tests pass, dashboards render on time. Meanwhile a column goes quietly stale, a fraction of IDs slips away, a definition drifts. Nothing pages you, and the numbers keep looking plausible.
Embrasure watches the data itself. When something drifts, it traces the change upstream to its cause, maps every downstream table, dashboard, and owner it touches, and hands you an evidence-backed incident in Slack with a recommended next step.
Lineage: web.events_raw feeds orders.enriched, which feeds the revenue overview and ads performance dashboards and the activation sync. A schema change in web.events_raw caused a null rate drift on click_id in orders.enriched while pipeline and check statuses stayed green, and Embrasure filed an evidence-backed incident to Slack.
The failures you never get paged for
A marketplace's clickstream lost about half a percent of its IDs. Every check passed. The gap flowed through healthy pipelines into advertising decisions for days before anyone thought to look.
missing ids · 0.5% · all checks green
A metrics job kept publishing every morning. The number still rendered; it had quietly stopped being true. Nobody could say which upstream change did it, or which reports inherited the stale value.
last true refresh · 6 days ago
A column kept its name and its type, and changed its meaning. The same filter started counting different rows, and every consumer downstream inherited the new definition without knowing.
status = "active" · definition changed tuesday
These are patterns we hear from data teams over and over. Explicit failures page someone. Silent ones wait to be noticed.
What Embrasure does about it
Detects
Embrasure learns the normal shape of each table: volumes, null rates, freshness, distributions. When something drifts outside that shape it notices, even while every check stays green.
Explains
An anomaly on its own is just another alert. Embrasure connects it to what changed upstream, a schema migration, a late load, a new code path, and shows the evidence behind the link.
Maps
Lineage puts the drift in context: which tables sit downstream, which dashboards and syncs consume them, and who owns each one. You see the blast radius before your stakeholders do.
Acts
The result is an incident, not a mystery: cause, impact, and owners in one place, delivered to Slack with a recommended next step. When Embrasure is unsure, it says so and shows its evidence.
Works with the stack you have
Embrasure reads metadata, query logs, and freshness signals from the warehouse you already run. No pipeline rewrite, nothing to install in your DAGs.
