Ask your company data. Right in Slack.
DM Ember or mention it in a channel. Ask a question, check the sources and query results, and follow up in the same thread.
Get started
You need an Embrasure account and a Slack workspace where you can install apps. Your Slack administrator may need to approve the installation.
How it works
- Connect your Slack workspace from Embrasure and finish the workspace setup.
- Configure the company data and workspace permissions Ember should use.
- Send Ember a direct message, or invite it to a channel and mention @Ember.
- Ask a question such as “What changed in sales this week?” Check the answer’s sources, then ask a follow-up in the thread.
Access and privacy
Embrasure workspace administrators control which data is connected and who can use Ember. Data queries use the workspace’s configured permissions; they don’t automatically inherit each Slack user’s warehouse permissions.
Slack message reads are checked against the requester’s access and the people receiving the answer. A bot joining a private channel doesn’t give everyone else access to its contents.
Ember reads conversations only when a request needs them. It doesn’t ask for personal Slack search access, and Slack questions and answers stay out of other Embrasure views.
Review our privacy policy, subprocessors, security information, and terms before connecting your workspace.
Remove Ember
A Slack admin can remove Ember from Slack’s app management page, or an Embrasure admin can disconnect it from Embrasure settings. Ember stops responding immediately.
Within 14 business days, normally within two days, we delete the Slack content stored for that installation and anything derived from it, including conversations, answers, findings, report setups, and Slack tokens. We keep usage and billing totals without message content. See the privacy policy for backup and log retention.
Check AI answers
Ember uses AI and can make mistakes. Check the sources and query results before using an answer to make a decision.
